Microdermabrasion

A simple guide to the increasingly popular microdermabrasion treatment

Microdermabrasion is a simple non-invasive cosmetic procedure very popular in patients showing early signs of sun exposure, ageing and other facial imperfections.

It helps to smooth out fine wrinkles, restore even skin tone and texture, decreases blotchiness and stimulates collagen production. The top layer of skin is removed by light abrasion revealing younger softer, more radiant skin.

This procedure takes a short period of time , with the advantage of no downtime!  Clients can return immediately to their daily routine.

Microdermabrasion is performed with a jet of  micro crystals vacuumed with a hand piece across the skins surface to remove the dead and damaged cells. Your therapist can control the strength of the abrasion.

By removing the top layer of dull ageing skin, it reveals the newer, more vibrant skin that lies below. Once these dead and damaged skin cells are removed, your skin will immediately feel and look smoother, fresher, healthier and more youthful.

Microdermabrasion appeals to all clients, especially those who don't have the luxury of extended recovery time.

Microdermabrasion can be used to treat:

·         Brown Spots

·         Shallow acne scars

·         Sun-Damaged skin

·         Dull or ageing skin

·         Fine Lines and Wrinkles

·         Uneven skin tone and texture

Microdermabrasion will give you a glowing more radiant skin.

The treatments typically last 20-30 minutes. A normal course of microdermabrasion treatments varies between 4 -8 treatments, however most patients feel and see a difference just after one or two procedures.

Treatments are carried out by nurses and medical aestheticians who have several years experience in this field. Each has the relevant training required to ensure that they give the very best of care and attention to the client. As well as administrating treatments they are also highly qualified to advise on what is the appropriate course of treatment for each client and are committed to working towards the desired result.

Microdermabrasion treatments start from £50.00. However, the exact price quote is completely individual to the salon, spa and cosmetic surgery group that you visit. Guiding you to the most suitable treatment plan with financial options at the most competitive and affordable price.
