Hello,
I am new to this, but you all seem very knowledgeable so I'm really hoping someone could help.
I am moving to Thailand for good in November (Whoop), I sold my tiny salon - lease, goodwill, furniture, everything.. due to complete at the end of August. The therapist that was buying it from me dropped out last week, because her husband has been offered a promotion meaning they will be leaving the area.
She is genuinely upset and I understand her reasons... But it leaves me in a terrible position.
So girls! Help!! I need to sell quickly and I'm not worried about taking a low offer for my 5 years of blood, sweat and tears in building the business, but I really don't want to let my lovely, loyal clients down and leave them without anywhere to go.
I can't get someone in to manage it, as I am back packing for 18 months before I settle in Thailand and there will be quite a lot of time that I will struggle to get email or phone contact and if the manager just decided to pack it in.. it's just more than I could bear!
What on earth can I do to find a buyer? It's only a small salon, designed for one therapist, with online booking and room to expand to 2 rooms if wanted. I don't really know how to go about advertising it. Please help!

The salon is in Surbiton, 10 mins walk from the station with lots of free parking.
I set the business up 5 years ago and moved to my current location a year and a half ago.
It is a lovely salon, quite boutique ( I am happy to send photos ). I just work 3 and a half days a week and the salon takes about 2k a month with a monthly all inclusive rent of 500.
It has online booking, a website and really low overheads.
The salon has a huge reception area where I do beauty parties, manicures and pedicures, a good size sound proofed treatment room and a large retail area which could be changed into another treatment room. Toilet and sink area, a load of storage space and an area for prep.
I have a huge client list of really loyal ladies and do a wide range of treatments.
The shop is double fronted and is Victorian, so very pretty. It needs a new lick of paint, but I have had the prep work done, so the new owner can just choose their colour and get it done easily.
My landlord is lovely and is happy to transfer the lease to the new owner.
It is a great little earner. I don't retail, but the potential is there.
Website is ***.bbspa.co.uk if you would like a look.

Just a little update. Thank you all so much! The salon has not yet sold, but I have had so much interest and even a couple of offers that I am considering! The response has been so encouraging that we have finally booked our one way flights and I have been able to start getting excited about are plans without feeling sick with worry that I will let my clients down.
I will keep you posted!
