Wages In London

hi there i just got a job in london, mayfair as a beauty therapist and was offered £6 an hour and 35 percent commision if i make over £1000 , is this a good pay because my train was is £400 a month because i have to commute from bedford to london so i had to leave straight away because it wasnt worth the money, does anyone no what is the average pay in london, also i am now looking for a job in milton keynes or bedford (bedfordshire, buckinghamshire) if anyone knows of a job going please inform me, and if anyone knows of a job going in central london at the pay rate at least £8 per hour than let me know, i hope someone can help me
