I didnt realise that trying to find a beauty therapy career would be so hard, once I had quilified to level 2 standard I started looking for a job, I searched and searched for around 2 years, having countless rejections the salons said to go away and get experience in a salon then go back to them.
After being rejected so much I gave up searching because it was getting me down.
I have joined this website in hope of some interest, I really do need my first break.
I hope im not the only one thats had a problem searching for a job !?

Hi i understand its been difficult, but my best advice to you is to build a portfilio of evdience, demonstrating you at work, ask friends family to be your volunteers, get some hands on experience doing some voluntry work,i myself have painted nails, offered my services to raise money for good causes, can do all kinds of Beauty treatments from facials,Make-overs you don't get paid, but you often get help towards products and tools that you need,it a chance to build your confidence and it more fun than being a slave, cleaning all the time,in a salon getting used.
