I am willing to do a few days in a salon and go 2 college the rest or whatever is available, but i would love to work in the beauty industry as i feel that my course would have gone to waste!!
Please help me!!

Hi,
I am in exactly the same position. I have done ITEC Level 2. Does anyone feel NVQ is different than ITEC? I have only seen requirements for NVQ so I'm worried now. I am going to have to do the Level 3 too which I can't afford because I can't find a job!

hI MICH IHAVE DONE LEVEL 2 ITEC AND A FEW LEVEL 3 COURSES, YOU DO FIND A LOT OF SALONS WANT nvq, THIS WAS MY WORRY WHEN I STARTED DOING THE COURSES. iT IS SO HARD TO GET IN ANYWHERE I AM STILL LOOKING EVEN THOUGHH HAVE BEEN QUALIFIED FOR SOME TIME, THE SALONS WILL NOT TAKE YOU ON UNLESS YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE AND HOW DO YOU GET EXPERIENCE IF THEY WON,T GIVE YOU A CHANCE, I SUPPOSE THE ONLY WAY IS TO GO MOBILE. You will find it very hard getting in anywhere with just a level 2, i did that is why you have to do level 3, try and get part time job in somthing else to pay for this good luck.
