work experience

Can anyone suggest how to go about finding work experience in a salon. so far I've drawn a blank. When I apply for jobs I'm told I need at least two years experience, when I try to get work experience I'm told that ***ody will take me on as I'm not insured.

what's the best thing to do? The ladies in the salons where I live are either very hostile or can't speak English. I need to find work, I have completed my Level 3 City and Guilds in Nail Technology, and sit my exams next week. I have also done two years of extensive theory work covering all aspects of Nail tecnology, yet ***ody wants to help in any way.
I'm desperate now.
