Our skin clinics deal with cosmetic treatments such as the permanent reduction of unwanted hair, and the treatment of facial wrinkles and thread veins. At present we operate from 9 sites and have an expansion plan to rollout more clinics in 2008. We specialise in the use of intense pulsed light, a technology that enables the reduction of unwanted hair, so that shaving and waxing become a thing of the past. IPL is also used for anti-ageing and improving your skin. All this is done without the need for invasive surgery, injections, aggressive treatments and with no recovery time needed.
All our clinics are registered with the Healthcare Commission and we follow best practice.
We opened the doors of our first clinic in Cheltenham in January 2005. Over the next few years we launched further clinics in selected areas, many of which are in House of Fraser and include Basingstoke, Bristol, Birmingham, Southampton, Guildford, Cardiff and Manchester. In early 2008 we opened our first clinic in Belfast, Northern Ireland followed later in the same year by our first London clinic in House of Fraser at the stunning new development, in Westfields at White City London. We are going through some very exciting changes.
Name Change
White Light was so named due to the use of IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) for treatments, it also encompassed the many light related products we sold in the early days which were specifically for sufferers of SAD syndrome. These items have been phased out to accommodate a growing range of skin related products and treatments and a suitable new
name was chosen to reflect this next phase of development.
Destination Skin as a major marketing initiative which will focus fully on the world of skin treatments and cosmetic enhancement. White Light will remain a registered name but its use will gradually be faded out. Destination Skin is the perfect name to take us to the forefront of skin related treatments and offers many advantages to marketing both on-line and to building the brand in general.
