Two lifelong friends; Andrew Phouli and Stelios Andrew; who both started their careers in hairdressing in the early 80’s started the RUSH hair group 14 years ago. They shared a dream to own a group of Salons that had quality stamped all over it.
Years on and their passion, professionalism, as well as cutting edge creativity has lead to 34 salons across London and the South East and seven British Hairdressing Awards.
Stelios Andrew now leads the Rush Artistic Team and Education Teams:

Andrew Phouli leads the Company as Chairman and is the British Hairdressing Business Awards, Business Director of the Year 2008.

In January, Rush opened its doors to its Advanced Academy in Croydon, Surrey. The state-of-the-art facilities are not only home to the Award Winning Rush Artistic Team (when they're not busy working in our salons), but are the base for our fantastic team of Educators providing all our Stylists, Receptionists and Assistants with continuous training and development opportunities.

Stelios Andrew - Int. Creative Director of the Rush Group. Stell is the backbone behind the Rush Artistic Team, his ideas and unorthodox coaching methods put him at the forefront of creativity. Within six years under Stell’s guidance the Rush Artistic Team have won every major award possible. “To have an idea is easy, to execute the idea is where the main focus should lie”.
Andrew Heasman - Int. Artistic Director of Rush, he is the driving force that pushes the Rush Artistic Team forward; he is a man on a mission. It was once quoted by a very inspiring Hairdresser that he is one of the most talented hairdressers he has ever seen!
Tina Farey - Editorial Director - An explosive member of the Rush Artistic Team, specialising in session and show work, her photographic images can be found in many major magazines, always pushing the boundaries.
Dimitri Loizi - UK Educational Director. Dimitri was the youngest member of the British F.A.M.E Team and has grown to inspire others with his work. He is part of the Rush Education Team. His talents come from a long-line of hairdressers starting from his great grandfather.
Sam Burnett - A leading member of the Rush Artistic Team; “Sam is the Man”. He is totally driven and dedicated to his profession. Hair is the love of his life.
Laura Cox - Show Coordinator. Laura started her career at Rush as an Assistant, learning her craft and working her way up using her creativity in show work. She has become an important member of the Rush Artistic Team, she now works closely with the youngest members of the company, passing on her knowledge and experience, the Rush way.
Simon Robson - Simon started his journey with Rush as an assistant with a dream to one day become a member of the Art Team, and after nine years he has reached his goal and now starts a new journey alongside them, allowing him to convey the knowledge and Philosophy of Rush to those who share his ambition and passion for perfection.
Chris Williams - Int. Colour Director. His background comes from a strong pedigree in the colour world and has wealth of knowledge and experience in colouring and precision techniques to inspire the team. His passion for colour combined with Rush's Iconic Haircuts pushes the Rush brand forward.
Paola Fattorusso - Paola is the Manager of the first Rush Advanced Academy, she is a creative dynamo and experienced educator. Her inspirational education techniques come from a wealth of experience and passion for her craft. Her professionalism and creativity has ensured her position as a key member of the team.
