Urban Retreat Goes Mobile
Initially covering London and Manchester, the UR at Home concept ultimately aims to recruit therapists from around the country so that the brand is truly nationwide. Therapists who buy into the scheme would pay £12,500 upfront followed by 16% comission in return for marketing and bookings support plus the use of a branded Audi A1 car, phone and ipad.
Training for participating therapist franchisees will take place at the London College of Beauty and Make-up where Urban Retreat Chairman, George Hammer has purchased a stake. Longer term the group fully intends to set up training sites nationally and feed into the Urban Retreat salons within Harrods, London and Harvey Nichols, Manchester.
Ex L'Oreal director Susan Morris will be managing the UR at Home Division which will be having its official launch at Professional Beauty 2011, ExCel London. The recruitment process commences at the show so if you're interested in this unique scheme it's worth your while popping along to see them.
