Title: Beauty Therapist/Complementary Therapist

Location: The Beauty Experience

Hours: 35-40 hours per week

Days of work: Tuesday to Saturday

Pay: £ 9.50 per hour

Responsible to: Salon manager

Purpose of the role

You will be taking care of our customers with the focus on relaxation, positivity and kindness. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly salon, you will be expected to work to a high professional standard.

Main duties

• Providing outstanding customer service
• Carrying out consultations
• Providing the full or in-part range of services offered within the salon
• Maintaining client records
• Maintaining a safe, healthy and clean working environment
• Advising clients on suitable retail products
• Monitoring stock levels

Essential

• Qualifications: completed an Apprenticeship, NVQ (or equivalent) level 3
• Excellent communication skills, face to face and over the phone
• Able to work to consistently high standards within commercial times
• Good team player
• Willing to learn
• Professional attitude to colleagues and clients
• A calm, friendly and professional demeanour

Additional information - late night opening & Saturday opening hours are required & frequency can be negotiated; training given; annual leave is accrued; commission & personal tips available.

Salary: From £9.50 per hour
